Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Security professional to join the Columbia St. Mary's facility in Milwaukee, WI. You will protect people and property through patrols, access control, and prompt threat response.

Responsibilities include investigating incidents, generating detailed reports, maintaining emergency preparedness, and guiding visitors and staff. The role is full-time, daytime schedule with rotating weekends, based in an in-house security department.

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.


• Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required. All state CCWs are accepted with the exception of ME, NH, NJ, OR and VT.


• One or more of the following required:




• Law Enforcement obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.


• Security Professional obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  

One Or More Of The Following Preferred

• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.
  

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.




• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
  

Full-time / 40 hours per week / Rotating days & weekends.
