Job summary

Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Part-time Security Officer to patrol the premises, manage access, and respond to threats. This position primarily covers the 2nd shift with rotating days and weekends to ensure constant protection of patients, staff, and visitors.

You will investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and support emergency readiness while assisting staff and visitors as needed.

Qualifications

• WI Driver's License required within 3 months of hire or transfer date.
• Wisconsin CCW license required within 3 months of hire or transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Security Professional credential preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required.

One Or More Of The Following Are Preferred

• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Law Enforcement.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.
• Security Professional.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
