Job summary

Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Columbus Junction, IA is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests, staff and assets while delivering exceptional service.

You will patrol the property, respond to incidents, perform first aid and coordinate communications with other departments; the role requires staying alert, standing for long periods, and obtaining IRGC licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct money transfers and table fills/credits; monitor drops.
• Write incident reports for post duties.

• Stand for up to 100% of shift.

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting customers, employees, and all assets of Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, while providing superior Guest Service.

Salary: $18.50/hour (including Premium pay and average tips)

Schedule: Full time including, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends and Holidays

Essential Functions:

• Provide first class Guest Service to all internal & external guests.
• Patrol property (casino, hotel, parking lots, and golf course) and ensure the safety of all employees and guests.
• Respond to radio and emergency calls as needed.
• Perform First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, and maintain certification in these areas when necessary.
• Conduct money transfers and table fills/credits, as well as monitor drops as needed.
• Perform all post duties assigned, to include writing incident reports.
• Work closely with other departments and maintain open communication with all employees.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of the time.

Required:

• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to be licensed through IRGC.
• Must demonstrate interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
