Job summary

The Security Officer at Riverside Casino and Golf Resort protects guests, staff and assets while delivering exceptional Guest Service across the casino, hotel, parking areas, and golf course.

Key duties include patrolling facilities, responding to emergencies, performing First Aid, CPR and AED as needed, and documenting incidents. The role requires reliable communication, a valid IRGC license, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide first class Guest Service to all internal & external guests.
• Patrol property (casino, hotel, parking lots, and golf course) and ensure the safety of all employees and guests.
• Respond to radio and emergency calls as needed.
• Perform First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, and maintain certification in these areas when necessary.
• Conduct money transfers and table fills/credits, as well as monitor drops as needed.
• Perform all post duties assigned, to include writing incident reports.
• Work closely with other departments and maintain open communication with all employees.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of the time.

Job description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting customers, employees, and all assets of Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, while providing superior Guest Service.

Essential Functions

• Provide first class Guest Service to all internal & external guests.
• Patrol property (casino, hotel, parking lots, and golf course) and ensure the safety of all employees and guests.
• Respond to radio and emergency calls as needed.

Required

• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to be licensed through IRGC.
• Must demonstrate interpersonal and written communication skills.

Schedule

$18.50/hr (including premium pay and average tips) with 40 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
