Job summary

The Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Iowa is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, employees, and assets while delivering superior guest service. You will patrol the casino, hotel, parking areas, and golf course, respond to calls, and perform first aid, CPR, and AED as required.

• Customer service experience required.

• Provide first class Guest Service to all guests.
• Patrol property (casino, hotel, parking lots, and golf course) and ensure safety for all.
• Respond to radio and emergency calls as needed.
• Perform First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, and maintain certification when required.
• Conduct money transfers and table fills/credits, and monitor drops as needed.
• Write incident reports for post duties and events.
• Work with other departments and maintain open communication with all employees.
• Stand up to 100% of the time.

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting customers, employees, and all assets of Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, while providing superior Guest Service.

Salary: $18.50/hour (including Premium pay and average tips)

Schedule: Full time including, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends and Holidays

Essential Functions:

Provide first class Guest Service to all internal & external guests.

Patrol property (casino, hotel, parking lots, and golf course) and ensure the safety of all employees and guests.

Respond to radio and emergency calls as needed.

Perform First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, and maintain certification in these areas when necessary.

Conduct money transfers and table fills/credits, as well as monitor drops as needed.

Perform all post duties assigned, to include writing incident reports.

Work closely with other departments and maintain open communication with all employees.

Ability to stand up to 100% of the time.

Required:

Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to be licensed through IRGC.

Must demonstrate interpersonal and written communication skills.
