Job summary

Ascension in Appleton, WI, seeks a Security Officer for the St. Elizabeth facility. This PRN/Rotating shift role focuses on patrols, access control, incident reporting, and emergency preparedness.

Candidates must have a Wisconsin Driver's License and must obtain a CCW within 90 days; a high school diploma or 1 year of related experience is required. Preferred credentials include BLS, law enforcement, or security certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience required.
• Wisconsin Driver's License valid or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Note: professional licensure/certification can replace education/experience if applicable.
• Preferred: BLS Provider, Law Enforcement, Management of Aggressive Behavior, Security Professional.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required.

One Or More Of The Following Are Preferred

• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Law Enforcement.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.
• Security Professional.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
