Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in Carrollton, TX to join a dynamic, growth-oriented team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install security and building automation systems while providing world-class service to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Develop customer focus and handle high-pressure situations.
• Build technical skills in building automation, fire alarm, and electronic security.
• Develop basic programming skills and troubleshoot problems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand tools.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine service calls and maintenance on schedule.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts.
• Install projects as necessary and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with team and respect safety policies.
• Support custom integrations and small projects when needed.
