Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Functional Lead for the Safe and Secure Team at our HQ to supervise front desk associates, provide training, and uphold security protocols across facilities. You will lead the Incident Management program, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, and coordinate with internal and external partners to protect people and assets.

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills are essential, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 3+ years in physical security operations and/or loss prevention
• 1+ year supervising/managing a team
• Ability to coach team members to deliver strong customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a fast-changing, growth environment with tight deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and insurable DMV

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team and provide coaching and performance management
• Identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and develop plans to accomplish tasks
• Maintain safety policies and ensure adherence to procedures and standards
• Lead the Incident Management program at HQ locations
• Manage badge access, server room controls, monitoring alerts and overall security health
• Recruit, orient, and train staff; ensure staffing meets KPIs
• Escalate high-risk issues to senior management and coordinate responses
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to protect people and assets
