Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm systems. You will engage with customers, perform system testing, and provide clear guidance on operation and maintenance.

Role includes completing installation reports, staying current with tech developments, and maintaining documentation while upholding high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain or possess basic tools for job duties.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems and related equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations with customers to understand needs and recommend security solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to customer security alarm systems and implement solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to ensure proper function and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educate customers on proper use and functionality of their systems to ensure confidence.
• Complete all paperwork including installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
• Stay updated on security alarm systems, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
