Job summary

Safe Haven Security LLC is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems, ensuring proper functioning and peak performance for customers. The role combines hands-on installation with customer-facing consultations to recommend security solutions.

You will conduct testing, provide customer education, complete installation paperwork, and stay current with industry standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain basic tools needed for job duties.
• Proficient in installing and maintaining security alarm systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and other related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate security solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the customer's security alarm systems, identifying root cause, and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of installed security systems to ensure all components are functioning correctly and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educate customers on the proper use and functionality of their security alarm systems, ensuring they are comfortable and confident in operating the equipment.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of all installations and repairs.
• Stay updated on knowledge of security alarm systems, emerging technologies, and industry standards in a fast-paced, and demanding work environment.
