Job summary

Safe Haven Security LLC is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will engage with customers to understand needs, perform installations, and ensure proper functioning of all components.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, customer service skills, and the ability to work in various environments. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to install, troubleshoot, and maintain security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, and cameras.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for professional customer interaction.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently with problem-solving.
• Must be able to obtain or possess basic tools required for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Conduct sales consultations to understand customer needs and propose solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper system function.
• Test installed systems and perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Educate customers on system operation and usage.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
• Stay updated on security technologies and industry standards.
