Job summary

BearCom in California seeks a Security Installation Foreman to lead a team installing and troubleshooting low voltage panels, IP video systems, and intrusion systems. Systems include Lenel, S2, Milestone, DMP, and Axis cameras.

The role requires supervising installers, coaching others, and ensuring high-quality customer support. The position offers on-the-job training, travel within the state, and potential work outside California as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 5+ years of experience in security installation or related field.
• Mastery knowledge of intrusion, IP video, and access control systems (Lenel/S2, Milestone, DMP).
• Ability to read plans and install panels, boxes and wiring.
• Proficient OSHA knowledge; understand codes and regulations.
• Strong communication/leadership skills for team environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot low voltage panels, wiring, IP video systems, and intrusion systems.
• Onsite supervision of installers across multiple worksites.
• Coach and teach junior technicians.
• Provide reliable customer support and operation of systems.
• Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.
