Job summary

HCI Systems is seeking a skilled Foreman/Security Technician to install enterprise-level access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems in mid to large commercial buildings.

You will oversee field teams, coordinate with contractors and end users, and ensure projects meet plans, schedules, budgets, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field teams on low voltage installations.
• Experience with access control, CCTV and intrusion systems preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors and end users.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage project progression on job sites, ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
• Direct and manage a team of technicians, assigning tasks and mentoring.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and end users for smooth project execution.
• Review plans and documents to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Manage materials, schedules, and resources to meet deadlines and budget.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and testing of low voltage systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and develop effective solutions with PMs.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate project status and issues to management and stakeholders.
• Perform quality checks to ensure industry standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Provide training and mentorship to technicians to improve skills.
• Identify out-of-scope requests and notify management of changes.
• Read blueprints and schematics to support installation work.
• Complete required paperwork and report field conditions and needs.
