Job summary

PCC Network Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Access Control Technician / Foreman to manage and execute commercial access control installations in California. The candidate will install, test, and troubleshoot readers, controllers, power supplies, and electrified door hardware, while guiding field teams.

Significant hands-on experience with access control systems is required, with CCTV/AV and low voltage work considered a plus. Local travel within California is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial access control installation and service experience.
• Experience leading technicians on construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Certifications preferred: manufacturer access control platforms, BICSI, OSHA 10/30.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians performing commercial access control installations.
• Install, service, test, and troubleshoot access control systems.
• Install and troubleshoot card readers, controllers, power supplies, door contacts, request to exit devices, and related equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot magnetic locks, electric strikes, and electrified door hardware.
• Troubleshoot wiring, power, controllers, field devices, locking hardware, and system communications.
• Read and interpret access control drawings, wiring diagrams, floor plans, and door schedules.
• Coordinate field activities with Project Managers, customers, contractors, and other trades.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, punch list resolution, and project documentation.
• Train and mentor technicians while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards.
