Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm systems. You will engage customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate security solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, documentation, and ongoing product knowledge in a fast-paced environment. The position requires physical aptitude for installation tasks, driving to sites, and staying updated on new technologies.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain or possess alarm agent permit where applicable and according to laws.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot alarm systems and implement effective fixes.
• Test installed systems and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educate customers on proper use and operation of systems.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
• Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies.
