Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to join our team. You will install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems, ensuring proper functioning and customer peace of mind across multiple locations in the United States.

You will engage in sales consultations, diagnose technical issues, conduct thorough testing, educate customers on usage, and complete installation reports and records.

Qualifications

• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems.
• Ability to obtain or possess alarm agent permit where applicable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure proper function.
• Test installed systems and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educate customers on system usage and operational basics.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
