Carvana is seeking a Functional Lead for its Safe & Secure team at our HQ in Missouri. You will supervise front desk Associates, provide coaching and training, and uphold security protocols to safeguard personnel and assets.

You’ll represent Carvana in routine meetings with internal and external partners, ensuring policy adherence and proactive risk management. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in security operations, 1+ year of supervision, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• 3+ years in physical security operations and/or loss prevention.
• 1+ years supervising a team.
• Ability to coach team members to deliver a consistent, top-notch customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read and write English.
• Driver’s license and insurable DMV required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities and performance of the assigned team.
• Provide coaching, development and performance management; give feedback.
• Maintain safety policies aligned with Carvana values.
• Lead incident management and risk assessment programs.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and teams.
• Ensure staffing meets KPIs and goals; available during extended hours.
