Carvana is seeking a Functional Lead to oversee our Safe & Secure team at HQ facilities, guiding security programs, training associates, and ensuring safety compliance across local, state, and federal requirements. You will lead incident management, escalate high-risk issues, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to protect people and assets.

The ideal candidate brings years in security operations, supervisory experience, strong communication, and a proactive mindset to drive

Competenze

• 3+ years experience in physical security operations and/or loss prevention.
• 1+ years experience directly supervising/managing a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to coach team members to deliver a top-notch customer service experience.
• Experience coordinating with diverse stakeholders in a fast-growing environment.

• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and develop plans to meet objectives.
• Provide coaching, development and performance management; give timely feedback.
• Create a team environment with positive communication and adherence to values.
• Proactively communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train staff; maintain staffing to meet KPIs.
• Lead Incident Management program at HQ locations and ensure safety compliance.
• Record all incidents accurately; conduct after-action reviews and improvements.
• Ensure badge access, server room controls, and monitoring health are maintained.
