Job summary

Comstock in Reston, VA is seeking a Full Time Security Officer (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm). The role includes enforcing safety, performing patrols, and controlling access for guests, tenants, and vendors to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma and DCJS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), plus at least 1 year in a customer-service role and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• DCJS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Monitor for property damage and safety.
• Perform routine foot patrols in and around buildings.
• Assist marketing during events and manage plaza operations.
• Enforce safety policies and report concerns to management.
