Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Security Shift Supervisor for the Reston, VA area. The role covers Monday through Friday, 3PM–11PM, ensuring a safe, clean, and positive experience for residents, tenants, and guests.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, and enforcing rules, with additional duties during events at Reston locations. Requires VA security certification, HS diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be Virginia State–certified security officer.
• At least 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.
• Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols of the property using the security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce policies and report safety concerns.
• Assist marketing during events at Reston locations.
• Manage valet at Reston Station and coordinate plaza marketing.
• Close loading dock doors as needed.
