Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking security professionals for full-time positions in Seattle. The role involves providing security and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors, patrolling facilities, and responding to incidents with healthcare coordination.

Minimum requirements include at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner coordinating with healthcare personnel and first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Pay Rate: $24.90 / Hour

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate healthcare personnel and first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
