Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey SORA certification required.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard or in public safety or customer-facing role preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, outdoors and in varying weather.
• Ability to respond calmly in emergencies and fast-paced situations.
• Experience handling conflict and de-escalation.
• Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and security best practices.
• Strong written communication for incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, interior spaces, parking areas, and exterior perimeters for safety and access control.
• Conduct routine patrols and remain alert to security concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance.
• De-escalate disruptive situations with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Investigate incidents and prepare accurate written reports.
• Operate surveillance and access-control systems and collaborate with clinical and facilities teams.
