Allied Universal in Elwood, IL is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees while adhering to site policies and emergency procedures.
• Maintain situational awareness through routine and random patrols to identify hazards and unauthorized activity.
• Verify credentials at access points and document visitor activity and incidents accurately.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify appropriate contacts.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity per site procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing site operations, and reporting concerns according to Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
