Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial site in Chicago, IL. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

The role emphasizes calm response to incidents, clear reporting, and adherence to site procedures. Pay is $22.05 per hour with a Fri-Sat shift pattern, and opportunities to grow through our training and perks program.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, access points, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor alarm panels, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
