Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard at Sparrows Point, MD to provide access control, customer service, and patrols for distribution center clients. The role features a part-time schedule with daytime overnight shifts and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and delivery vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions through required reports and communication channels.
