Qualifications

• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors and contractors at a logistics and distribution location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identifications, authorizations, and issuing access credentials.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates and loading areas; report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or contractors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, reviewing visitor and contractor authorizations, issuing access credentials, and maintaining required entry records.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and/or loading-area activity; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
