Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an armed security officer for a night-shift role at an aerospace/defense location in the Merrimack area. You will provide customer-focused security, respond calmly to incidents, and patrol designated facilities to protect people and property.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an armed guard card or license if possible, and successful completion of background checks and drug screening in accordance with laws and site policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at an aerospace and defense location.

• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate with leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
