Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a full-time security officer to protect a manufacturing facility. The role requires patrolling the site, monitoring access, and responding to incidents during a consistent night shift schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and initiatives at a manufacturing/industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions to site contacts.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation per Allied Universal requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
