A job opportunity for a Security Officer at the State Fair, responsible for ensuring safety and security across 200 acres and assisting law enforcement. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and knowledge of security practices. The role requires a valid NC Driver's License and the ability to work extended hours during events.

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with minimum education and experience, are REQUIRED:

Experience with CCTV systems and large venue or fair security with attendance over 50,000 is preferred.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. EMT training may be required. Employment offers may be less than the maximum salary based on experience and education.
