Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Security Service Technician to service and maintain intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems. The role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fire and life safety, a C6/L6 license, and a clean driving record. Must be willing to perform fire alarm work and travel to job sites as needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in fire and life safety as apprentice or technician.
• C6 or L6 License required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read technical documents and work independently.

Mansioni

• Independently perform service, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of security systems.
• Diagnose system issues and complete corrective actions.
• Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with codes and customer requirements.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete service work safely.
• Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and work orders accurately.
