Job summary

Security Dispatcher position in Phoenix, AZ, is an in-person role with full-time hours. The dispatcher will receive and prioritize calls, gather information, and dispatch appropriate personnel, while maintaining records and following procedures.

Night and weekend shifts may be required as part of the schedule. Candidates should have an AZ Guard Card and prior dispatcher experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with dispatch software and radio systems.

• Monitor and track the status of ongoing incidents or service requests.
• Coordinate communication between field units, supervisors, customers and other entities.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to callers or field units as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all calls and actions taken.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for handling different types of incidents.

• Gather and record accurate information from callers by telephone, email and two way radio communication.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources to incidents or service requests to include police, fire and supervisors.

• Coordinate communication between field units, supervisors, customers and other entities

Requirements

• Must have AZ Guard Card

Experience

• Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in using computer systems, two way radio and dispatch software
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques
• Experience in report writing and documentation
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
