Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Security Dispatcher to monitor surveillance, coordinate incident responses, and maintain clear communication within the security department and with other casino teams to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dispatch, security, or related field experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming Card/License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Proficiency with surveillance equipment, two-way radios, and computers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Receive and prioritize calls and radio transmissions from security personnel, staff, and guests.
• Dispatch security officers and emergency personnel to locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and dispatches.
• Document suspicious activities and security breaches; report to management or law enforcement as needed.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire department, and EMS during critical incidents.
• Answer telephone and radio calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist in preparing incident reports and provide information to investigators.
• Monitor weather conditions and relay relevant information to security and management.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.

Job Summary**

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating responses to incidents, and maintaining clear communication within the security department and with other casino departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

Job Responsibilities**

• Operate and monitor all security surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Receive and prioritize incoming calls and radio transmissions from security personnel, casino staff, and guests regarding incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Dispatch security officers and other emergency personnel to appropriate locations in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear and concise instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all security-related activities, incidents, and dispatches.
• Document and report all suspicious activities, disturbances, and security breaches to the appropriate management and law enforcement as required.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire department, and emergency medical services during critical incidents.
• Answer telephone and radio calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist in the preparation of incident reports and provide information to investigators as needed.

Job Qualifications**
