Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor security surveillance equipment (CCTV), access control, and alarms.
• Receive and prioritize calls and radio transmissions from staff and guests.
• Dispatch security officers to locations with clear instructions.
• Maintain logs of security activities, incidents, and dispatches.
• Document suspicious activities and report to management or law enforcement when required.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire, and EMS during incidents.
• Answer calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist in incident reports and provide investigators with information.
• Monitor weather conditions and relay info to security and management.
• Perform data entry and filing as required.

Job Summary

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating responses to incidents, and maintaining clear communication within the security department and with other casino departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all security surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Receive and prioritize incoming calls and radio transmissions from security personnel, casino staff, and guests regarding incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Dispatch security officers and other emergency personnel to appropriate locations in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear and concise instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all security-related activities, incidents, and dispatches.
• Document and report all suspicious activities, disturbances, and security breaches to the appropriate management and law enforcement as required.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire department, and emergency medical services during critical incidents.
• Answer telephone and radio calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist in the preparation of incident reports and provide information to investigators as needed.
• Monitor weather conditions and relay relevant information to security personnel and management.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping as required.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in dispatch, security, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming Card/License.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, two-way radios, and computer systems.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
