Job summary

Direct Supply, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Security Operations Support Specialist to coordinate dispatch, monitoring, and compliance within Safety and Security. You will support field-based Officers, manage life safety processes, and help ensure readiness of the security program.

You’ll handle calls, alarms, and tickets, document incidents, and assist with audits and training coordination. Proficiency with Zendesk, Milestone VMS, and access control systems is a plus, and the role requires

Qualifications

• 2+ years in security dispatch or similar support function.
• Ability to perform in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
• Experience with dispatch platforms, access control systems, or incident tracking software.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sound judgment in sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary security dispatch and operations desk resource during assigned hours.
• Receive, triage, and document security-related calls, alarms, and tickets.
• Dispatch Security Officers and coordinate responses using established procedures.
• Monitor systems such as video management, access control, and alarms.
• Maintain incident logs and support after-action reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate OSHA, ANSI, and life safety compliance activities, including inspections, drills, and tracking.
• Assist with audit preparation and emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to the Manager, Safety and Security, including reporting, SOP updates, and training coordination.
• Support daily operations within platforms like Zendesk, Milestone VMS, OnSolve, and access control systems.
