AeroVironment is seeking a dedicated Directed Energy Laser Field Service Representative to travel to customer locations, install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced laser systems used in mission-critical applications.

You will act as the primary customer contact, ensuring operational readiness, safe operation, and responsive service while building strong customer relationships in dynamic field environments.

Competenze

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Associate degree or technical certifications; relevant experience may be considered.
• 2–5 years of hands-on field service or technical support experience.

Mansioni

• Install and setup laser systems at customer sites.
• <span>Perform maintenance and repairs; update hardware, software, and firmware as needed.</span>
• Troubleshoot issues using data, logs, and diagnostics; coordinate with engineering.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of laser systems.
• Provide primary customer contact and ensure service quality and satisfaction.
• Document visits, maintenance performed, issues resolved, and feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve system performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols for laser systems and field operations.
• Oversee PHS&T of spares and related duties.
