Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks an Emerging & Disruptive Technologies Analyst in Norfolk, VA. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain/maintain an active DoD security clearance.

The role involves identifying, cataloging, and assessing new technologies to support warfare development and strategic foresight, with emphasis on EDT opportunities and risks. Qualifications

• Education: bachelor's degree or 6 years equivalent experience.
• Four years of post-degree experience or six years without, including two years in acquisition, assembly, and interpretation of research/tech information.
• Technical Skills: PC office automation and internet research; analyze EDT docs and identify adoption paths.

Responsibilities

• Identify and catalog Emerging & Disruptive Technologies (EDTs).
• Assess EDT implications and adoption opportunities.
• Promote EDT-based experimentation in realistic environments.
• Provide input to EDT programming and deliver EDT guidance for foresight and planning.
• Identify capability shortfalls that EDTs can address.
• Educate staff on opportunities and risks of EDTs.
• Organize a knowledge base on EDT status.
