Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior Analyst in Emerging and Disruptive Technologies to support defense planning and warfare capability development. The role emphasizes EDT identification, assessment, and knowledge management for informed decision making.

The candidate will educate staff on EDT opportunities and risks, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the Innovation Branch’s EDT initiatives in a dynamic, onsite setting at Norfolk, VA.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/ICT or related field as stated.
• Four years of post-degree experience or six without a degree is required.
• Experience includes research data interpretation and information synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging and disruptive technologies (EDTs) relevant to defense.
• Catalog existing EDTs and assess implications and adoption opportunities.
• Promote experimentation of EDT-based solutions in realistic environments.
• Input to planning and programming of EDT activities.
• Influence EDTs to address capability shortfalls identified by stakeholders.
• Deliver input for EDT advice supporting strategic foresight and defense planning.
• Identify capability gaps that could benefit from EDT adoption.
• Educate staff on opportunities and risks of EDTs.
• Organize and manage a knowledge base on current EDT status.
• Contribute as a member of the Innovation Branch of Science and Technology.
