Job summary

WLG is seeking a Senior Analyst to identify and catalogue Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) and to assess their implications for military applications. The role supports the Warfare Development Agenda and coordinates EDT activities within regional and multinational contexts, including NDPP and capability development.

The candidate will promote EDT experimentation, analyze EDT documentation for adoption pathways, and educate HQ SACT staff on EDT opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a nationally recognized university in computer science, ICT, or closely related field.
• Minimum 4 years post-related experience; or 6 years if no degree.
• Experience interpreting S&T information to address military challenges.
• Proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001.

Responsibilities

• Identify and catalogue Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs).
• Assess EDT implications and adoption opportunities for Warfare Development.
• Promote EDT experimentation in realistic environments.
• Coordinate EDT activities within ACT S&T POW and support foresight, NDPP, multinational solutions, capability development, training and education.
• Develop input for EDTs advice informing strategic foresight analyses and NATO defence planning.
• Identify shortfalls suitable for EDT adoption and develop practical examples.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline
