Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking an Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDT) Senior Analyst to support NATO HQ SACT CMDS in Norfolk, VA.

On-site with ~25% travel, you will identify and assess EDTs, support capability development, and inform strategic foresight and defense planning. Requirements include 5+ years in research/tech information, knowledge of S&T information sources, and ability to translate EDT findings into military applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience acquiring, assembling, and interpreting research and technology information.
• Knowledge of science and technology information sources (defense labs, academia, media, defense ministries).
• Experience interpreting future science/EDT information for military applications and opportunities.
• Ability to analyze EDT documentation and identify adoption pathways.
• Practical experience with PC office automation products and internet-based information research.
• English-language proficiency equivalent to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333.

Responsibilities

• Identify new EDTs and support catalogue and assessment of existing EDTs.
• Assess implications of EDTs and identify adoption opportunities for Warfare Development Agenda.
• Promote EDT-based experiments in realistic environments.
• Identify technologies addressing capability shortfalls or impacting military capabilities.
• Provide and coordinate EDT analysis for strategic foresight, NATO defense planning, and AoA.
• Analyze NDPP products and lessons learned to spot capability gaps for EDT application.
• Develop practical examples of EDT applications to operational challenges.
• Educate military staff on opportunities and risks of EDTs.
• Maintain EDT knowledge resources and facilitate information exchange among EDT stakeholders.
