Prevailance, Inc. in Norfolk, VA seeks an Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDT) Senior Analyst to support NATO HQ SACT CMDS. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and adopting EDTs for current and future military capabilities, with approx.

25% travel and on-site work in Norfolk. The candidate will analyze EDT developments, support capability development, and provide technology-focused insights informing NATO strategic foresight, defense planning, and AoA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience acquiring, assembling, and interpreting research and technology information.
• Demonstrated knowledge of S&T information sources (defense labs, universities, media, ministries).
• Experience interpreting future S&T and EDT info for military applications.
• Ability to analyze EDT documentation and develop practical adoption examples.
• Proficient with PC office automation and internet-based information research.
• English-language proficiency equivalent to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333.

Responsibilities

• Identify new EDTs and support cataloguing and assessment.
• Assess implications and identify adoption opportunities for the Warfare Development Agenda.
• Promote EDT-based experimentation in realistic environments.
• Identify technologies addressing capability shortfalls or impacting military capabilities.
• Provide and coordinate EDT analysis supporting NATO foresight, planning, and AoA.
• Analyze NDPP products and Lessons Learned to identify capability gaps.
• Develop practical examples of EDT applications to operational challenges.
• Educate military staff on EDT opportunities and risks.
• Maintain EDT knowledge resources and stakeholder exchange.
