Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive cloud architectures for the War Department.

You’ll own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and build expertise across AWS services including DynamoDB, S3, EC2, and CloudFront. You will collaborate with ecosystem partners and an innovative sales team, applying security best practices and providing leadership on enterprise cloud strategies for defense customers, while maintaining TS

Qualifications

• 2+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
• Bachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects for War Department customers.
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and cloud architectures.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
