Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive technical engagements for U.S. War Department projects. You will define architectures, respond to RFPs, and deepen expertise across AWS services while ensuring secure, scalable cloud solutions for defense customers.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and partners to shape strategy, capture best practices, and advocate for secure, compliant cloud adoption in government programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years design/implementation/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (cloud, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 10+ years of IT development or consulting in software/Internet industries experience
• Bachelor's degree or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop AWS expertise.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
