Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements for the U.S. War Department market.

You will define architectures, respond to RFPs, and leverage AWS services to deliver secure cloud solutions while collaborating with partners and customers. Role emphasizes deep security expertise, enterprise architecture skills, and the ability to communicate complex designs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
• be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
