Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician in San Antonio, Texas. You will be responsible for installing, programming, and servicing a variety of systems including fire and security systems. The role requires strong technical expertise and customer focus, along with the ability to work under pressure. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, proficiency in reading blueprints, and certification in relevant systems. Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with Genetec, Lenel, Softwarehouse, or Avigilon certification.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems.
• Acts as the key interface for customer support and satisfaction.
• Reads blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
• Provides custom systems integrations and database management.
• Mentors and trains less experienced staff.
