Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling across our data platforms and production environment. You will contribute to scalable, automated security solutions that protect a global multi-cloud fabric, partnering with engineers across Product Security and owning CI/CD, monitoring, and resilience.

You will work on event-driven systems, data pipelines, and platform tooling with exposure to OpenSearch, Postgres, Kafka, SQS, and cloud-native

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role on event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, and internal monitoring tools.
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript.
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Postgres, Kafka, SQS, etc.), including health, capacity, and production maintenance.
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC with stakeholder engagement and mission outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI to enhance decision-making and automate workflows using LLMs.
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building scalable systems.
• Design and implement software and automation tools for security use cases across a multi-cloud platform.
• Partner with Product Security teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments and analyses.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services, with monitoring and incident response.
