Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling that scales with our AI-native platform. You will contribute to secure data platforms, operational tools, and frameworks used by engineers across Product Security to safeguard a global multi-cloud production environment.

You will help design automation for security use cases, own CI/CD and SRE practices, and collaborate with teams to ensure reliable security services and tooling strategy across

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role with event-driven systems.
• Proficient in Golang, Python, React, Angular or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing.
• Experience with data stores OpenSearch, Postgres, Kafka, SQS, etc., including health/capacity maintenance.
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC with stakeholder engagement and mission outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI and creating services that leverage LLMs.
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration tools like Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet.
• Experience in Product Security or SaaS environment is a strong bonus.
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape and telemetry data analysis.
• Experience in Security Operations/Incident Response.
• Experience with cloud-scale Linux environments (AWS/GCP).
• Ability to work independently with team support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building and operating robust, scalable systems.
• Design and implement security tooling for use cases like software supply chain security and AI-powered vulnerability discovery.
• Partner with Product Security teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services, with monitoring and response processes.
