Job summary

CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity company, seeks a Software Engineer in Product Security to design, deploy security tooling, and automation for our multi-cloud production environment. You will build a scalable platform of applications, APIs, and frameworks used by engineers to safeguard data and services.

You will own SRE practices, CI/CD pipelines, and datastore operations, collaborating on risk assessments and architecture while applying AI-enabled approaches to optimize security workflows

Qualifications

Experience in a Software Engineering role with event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, and automation tools.
Proficient in Golang, Python, React/Angular/Typescript for full-stack development.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software signing, and OSS dependencies.
Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue systems (OpenSearch, Kafka, Postgres, SQS) and ownership of health and capacity.
Experience with end-to-end SDLC, stakeholder engagement, and delivering mission outcomes.
Experience with Generative AI to improve decision-making and workflows, and familiarity with AI-enabled services.

Responsibilities

Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building and operating scalable systems.
Design and implement software and automation tools for security use cases across the product security platform.
Partner with teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments and architectural reviews.
Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations, implementing monitoring and response processes.
