Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling across a global, multi-cloud environment. You will contribute on a team delivering scalable data platforms, APIs and frameworks to safeguard production systems.

The role focuses on security automation, integrity of data pipelines, and collaboration across Product Security with an emphasis on incident response and cloud-scale operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in event-driven systems and data ingestion pipelines.
• Developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular or TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containers.
• Experience with data stores and queues (OpenSearch, Postgres, Kafka, SQS).
• SDLC ownership from design to delivery with stakeholder focus.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM-based services.
• Experience with configuration/orchestration tools like Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet.
• Product Security role experience is a plus for SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute on a global software engineering team in Product Security.
• Design and build security tooling and automation for multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments.
• Own CI/CD, SRE, and datastore operations for critical security services.
