Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to help build and deploy security tooling, automation, and scalable data platforms across a global multi-cloud environment.

You will contribute as part of a product security team, owning CI/CD, SRE excellence, and security tooling strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teammates to deliver mission-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a software engineering role building scalable systems.
• Experience with Golang, Python, React, Angular, or TypeScript.
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD, containers, cryptographic signing and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Postgres, Kafka, SQS).
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC with stakeholder engagement and outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI to improve workflows and decision-making.
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
• Experience in a Product Security role; SaaS background is a bonus.
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape including TTPs.
• Experience monitoring telemetry data and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security tooling and automation for product security.
• Own SRE, CI/CD, and datastore operations for critical services.
• Collaborate across Product Security to define tooling strategy and risk assessments.
• Develop scalable security platforms and multi-cloud data platforms.
