Job summary

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling across our multi-cloud platform. You will contribute to scalable data platforms, automation, and security harnesses that support engineers worldwide.

You will design AI-enabled security tooling, own CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across Product Security to ensure reliable, secure operations and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role (event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, internal monitoring tools)
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Kafka, Postgres, Kafka, SQS), including health, capacity, and production maintenance
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC, including design, implementation, and delivery with stakeholder engagement
• Experience with Generative AI and LLM-based services to enhance workflows and decisions
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet)
• Experience in a Product Security role; SaaS background a strong bonus
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape including adversaries, TTPs
• Experience monitoring telemetry data from applications and infrastructure
• Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response
• Experience with cloud-scale, Linux environments and AWS or GCP

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building scalable systems
• Design and implement software & automation tools for security use cases (supply chain, AI vulnerability discovery, multi-cloud visibility)
• Partner with Product Security teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments
• Own SRE excellence, CICD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services
